Shenglun International Industrial Group Co., Ltd. (Shenglun Group) has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Barter Trade Branch of the China General Chamber of Commercial (CGCC) to jointly build the International Barter Trade Operation Center in Xiong’an New Area.

Ms. Hu Xiao, Vice Chairwoman and General Manager of Shenglun Group, and Mr. Li Xingyuan, Special Invited Vice President of CGCC and President of its Barter Trade Branch, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

Also present were Ms. Sha Fei, Level-Three Business Officer of the Investment Promotion Department of the Xiong’an Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee; Mr. Li Xisheng, Deputy Director of the Xiongxian Bureau of Commerce and Investment Promotion; Ms. Hu Ling, Special Advisor to the Barter Trade Branch; Mr. Wu Qingtao, Vice President; Ms. Tian Xue, Deputy Secretary-General; Mr. Wu Luyong, Director and Deputy General Manager of Shenglun Group; Mr. Hu Hongwen, Director of Trade Operations; Mr. Shi Lei, Risk Control Manager; and other representatives.

Building a National-Level Barter Trade Platform

According to the agreement, both sides will jointly establish a national-level barter trade platform in Xiong’an. The platform will integrate policy coordination, standard setting, resource integration, cross-border settlement, and supply-chain services.

By connecting the digital barter trading system with the Xiong’an Foreign Trade Comprehensive Service Platform, it will offer one-stop services for customs, foreign exchange, taxation, finance, and information processing.

The project aims to pioneer a new form of RMB-denominated barter trade based on real trade, supporting Xiong’an’s role as a high-level hub for China’s opening-up and innovation in trade models.

Empowering the Future of Barter Trade

The Barter Trade Branch of the CGCC is the only national association serving the barter trade industry. It liaises with global barter organizations, develops industry standards, and builds key platforms such as the China Barter Festival, China Barter Trade Economic Forum, and the China International Barter Trade Expo (CIFTIS).
